International Student Entry Requirements

Certificate in Welding & Fabrication Skills (level 3) - 14 weeks:

• Minimum age of 18 years and over.
• No experience required.

Certificate in Advanced Welding (level 4) - 14 weeks:

• Minimum age of 18 years and over.
• Certificate in Welding & Fabrication Skills or equivalent qualification and/or
• Relative industry experience.
• Evidence of industry experience, prior learning and/or qualifications.

English Language Requirements
The NZ Welding School has the following English language requirements for any prospective student wanting to enrol for whom English is a second language.

Minimum level required:

IELTS - General Training Test
Level 4.5 - 5.0 (General Training Reading)

TOEFL
Level 450 - 475

Course Fees and Credits
All fees are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and include Government Service Tax (GST).
New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) credits on the National Framework.00
