You will hit the ground running
On successful completion of your course unit standards, and free of charge, you may be considered to sit one or more industry-recognised welding tickets at the discretion of the Head Welding Tutor.  The selection of tickets is as follows:

Workshop skills are included in the course to give trainees a solid introduction to light fabrication. During the course trainees are expected to complete several different projects

The projects involve the following skills...

• Drilling, tapping, brazing, welding, gas cutting, grinding, sheetmetal work, folding, guillotine, spot - welding, pop-riveting, marking-out, fitting.
